Congregational Council

At our annual general meeting members elect nine persons to serve as our Congregational Council. The group meets about once a month to oversee and support the ministries of the pastor and congregation. Meetings are open to visitors. Minutes are posted.

Committees

Worship and Music - plans worship

Christian Growth - coordinates Sunday School, Confirmation Classes, Bible Studies, Ladies' Luncheons, Men's Ministry, and the Fall Retreat

Evangelism - invites and welcomes new members

Outreach - encourages support for local ministries (i.e. food banks), and international ministries (Canadian Lutheran World Relief)

In-Reach - promotes friendship

Mutual Ministry - evaluates and supports the ministry of the congregation and pastor

Stewardship - encourages generosity of time, talents and treasures, and manages investments

Property - cares for our church building and grounds
