  • Lutherans in Montreal work cooperatively through the Montreal Lutheran Council. Pastors and lay leaders meet regularly. A picnic is held in St. Lazare each August.

  • Lutheran congregations in Quebec and eastern Ontario form the Ottawa St. Lawrence Conference. A dean and conference council serve as an executive committee. A spring meeting is held.

  • Camp Lutherlyn, a summer camp and conference centre, is located on Golden Lake in the Ottawa Valley. Programs for children and adults are offered. It is available for private rentals.

  • Christ the Redeemer is a member of the Eastern Synod, which is an association of about 200 congregations in eastern Canada. The bishop and synodical leaders are headquartered in Kitchener, Ontario.

  • We are also members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, which is comprised of about 600 congregations from cost to coast to coast. Our presiding bishop and national staff are based in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

  • Lutherans across Canada provide emergency assistance and developmental aid through Canadian Lutheran World Relief.
